If you have an old photo of your children, grand children, wife or anyone that you like and want it brought to life in beautiful colour. Then why don’t you think about booking a portrait commission today. Have a look at the sample images in this post for a before photo and after painting. I think you will agree the effect and improvement is startling. I can paint the picture in any size and medium whether that is acrylic, watercolour or oils. For the best results it is better to have a good sized facial photo as per my sample.
How do I do these portrait commissions
Firstly, I liaise with you to find the perfect image for me to work from. This is important. It is much better to have a good sized image, that is in focus for me to do the portrait commission. Colour and background are not a major concern at this stage as I can change and enhance these elements. Secondly, we will discuss the media you would like the portrait commission painted in and whether you want it painted on canvas, canvas board or paper. We discuss the size at this stage too. Thirdly, I draw the photo onto the canvas and send an image for approval, if you are happy for me to continue – I finish the painting.
Once the painting is finished I send an image for you to approve. If you are happy I can also help with framing. The whole picture can then be delivered ready to hang. Perfect for Christmas or birthday presents.
My payment terms are 50% before I start and the remainder on completion before I send the finished picture to you in the post recored delivery. We pack and parcel the paintings so they will be safe and arrive undamaged.
